The XForce ES-FM15VMK-CBS is a Varex valved, bi-modal cat-back exhaust listed to fit the Ford S550 Mustang GT V8. The Varex valve lets the system switch between a quieter and a louder mode, and it's sold and fitted at our Illawarra workshop.
What does this system cover?
This is a valved cat-back for the S550 Mustang GT V8. A cat-back replaces the exhaust from the catalytic converter back, so the factory cat and front pipework stay in place and only the rear section changes. This one runs a bi-modal muffler with an XForce Varex valve, which opens and closes to change the flow path. What does a Varex bi-modal valve change?
A bi-modal, valved system runs two flow paths: with the valve shut it follows the quieter route, and with it open it lets the gas take the freer path for a louder note.
