The MPI Automotive FX-779 is a V8 extractor set listed to fit the Dodge truck with the 303 and 313ci V8. It replaces the cast factory exhaust manifolds at the cylinder heads.

An extractor, or header, swaps the cast factory manifold for tuned-length tubes that merge downstream, aiming to reduce back-pressure off the heads. On the 303 and 313ci Dodge V8 that's a set per bank at the very front of the exhaust.
