The XForce H2-HV09B-KIT is a performance header kit listed to fit the Holden Commodore from 1999 to 2006. It replaces the factory exhaust manifold with a tubular header — the front end of an exhaust build on this VT-to-VZ era Commodore.
What is a header and where does it fit?
A header, or extractor, is the tubular manifold that bolts to the cylinder head and gathers exhaust from each port into separate runners before they merge. It replaces the cast factory manifold and sits right at the front of the system, ahead of the cats and any cat-back. The aim is smoother, more even gas flow off the head than a cast manifold allows. On a Commodore this is the foundational piece of an exhaust upgrade — everything downstream feeds off it. The H2-HV09B-KIT comes as a kit, so it's set up to bolt to this Commodore rather than supplied as raw tube.
