The XForce H2-VE04-02KIT is a header kit listed to fit the Holden V8 in 6.0L and 6.2L form, with 1-5/8in primaries. Headers replace the cast factory manifolds with tubular runners at the front of the system.
What is a header kit and what does it change?
Headers, also called extractors, swap the cast manifolds for tubular runners that gather exhaust from each cylinder more evenly. The 1-5/8in figure is the primary tube size at the cylinder head. On a 6.0L or 6.2L V8 this is the part of the exhaust where the gas first comes together, so it's a common first step in a fuller build. The header kit changes how the front of the system flows; the rest behind it is unaffected unless it's also changed. We publish no flow, power or sound figures and won't quote any.
