This Exhaust Systems Australia 1-3/4in tuned, mandrel-bent header set (use DSF138 x 2 gasket) is listed to fit the Holden Commodore VE and VF V8, including SS, Calais and GTS variants. Sized at 4in through the kit, it replaces the factory exhaust manifolds at the engine on the late-model V8 Commodore.
Tuned headers replace the cast manifolds with tubular runners cut to matched lengths so each cylinder's pulse is separated before they merge. They bolt to the heads at the hottest part of the engine bay and seal with a gasket, which is why this set is listed to run with the DSF138 gasket, two of them for the V8's two banks. They change the front of the exhaust at the engine, leaving the rest of the system behind them.
