What does this turbo-back system cover?
This is a turbo-back run, replacing the exhaust from the turbo outlet rearward, which is a longer span than a cat-back and the part of the system where a 3.0L diesel BT-50 tends to free up flow. It is sized at 3in to match that engine. The defining feature here is the DPF-delete: the diesel particulate filter the BT-50 came with is removed rather than retained.
What is a turbo-back and what does it change?
On a turbo-diesel the turbo-back covers everything after the turbocharger. Stepping the bore up to a single 3in pipe lowers the restriction of the standard plumbing and alters the note relative to stock.
