MPI Automotive Holden Commodore VU - VZ V8 Ute Left Hand Side 3in Rear Muffler (Tip not Included).
Category: Mufflers and resonators

The MPI Automotive MBM450MF is the left-hand-side rear muffler for a dual ute exhaust, listed to fit the V8 Holden Commodore ute from VU to VZ. It's the LH half of the pair, bent for the left side of the chassis, and like its right-side partner it ships without a tip.
A dual rear on a ute runs a muffler down each side of the chassis, and the two are mirror-imaged — the bends and hanger points differ. The MBM450MF is the left-hand unit, so it's the one that follows the routing down the left of the tray on a VU-VZ V8 ute. Get the side right at order time and it drops onto the correct hangers without a fight.
Sitting at the back of the system, a rear muffler sets the cruise and idle tone you hear behind the ute. At 3in it's the wider-bore version, matched to the V8's flow so it doesn't restrict at the tail. It's a chambered absorption-and-reflection design, so it quietens without simply blocking the pipe.
No — the MBM450MF comes without a tip. That's handy if you're keeping a tip you already run or want a specific style. We can source and weld a tip to suit the tailpipe when we fit the muffler.
Oak Flats Muffler Men fits the MBM450MF to the left-hand rear section in our Illawarra workshop, confirming the side and the VU-VZ build first. We set the hangers and alignment so it clears the tray. It's listed to fit the V8 Commodore ute; confirm the exact build with us before ordering.
