What does deleting the centre mufflers do?
Rather than two chambered centre mufflers, the MBM742WOM runs straight 2in dual pipe where the factory silenced the middle of the system. Taking out that silencing stage lifts volume and frees flow on the V8 Commodore, leaving the rear section to do the remaining quietening. It's the value path to a harder note through the centre without re-doing the rear silencers.
