The Redback MCV128 is a manifold catalytic converter listed to fit the Mitsubishi Outlander from 2010. As a manifold cat, it combines the exhaust manifold and the catalytic converter into one bolt-on assembly that sits hard up against the engine.

A manifold catalytic converter merges two jobs into a single casting: collecting the exhaust gas from the cylinder head and housing the catalyst that scrubs emissions. Because the cat sits right at the manifold, it lights off quickly when the engine warms.
