The MPI Automotive MKHN0001 is a with-cat muffler system for the 3.0L Holden Colorado RC in long-wheelbase form, matched to the earlier 2008–10 build. It retains the catalytic converter, so the emissions hardware stays in place.
This is the long-wheelbase RC Colorado with the 3.0L diesel, in the 2008–10 build. The exhaust path runs over the longer body behind the cab, so the system is built for that wheelbase and that build window. It keeps the catalytic converter and runs a muffler — the with-cat replacement, not an off-road pipe.
On a turbo-diesel ute the swap mainly frees the run while keeping the factory emissions equipment that road registration depends on. The muffler quietens by absorbing and reflecting sound inside its body. The bore isn't published by the supplier, so confirm the pipe size with the workshop. We can't quote a sound level — hearing a comparable fit is the honest test.
Because the MKHN0001 keeps the catalytic converter, it leaves the Colorado's emissions hardware in place — the sticking point for road compliance on a diesel ute. Confirm the exact build and any state requirements with the workshop before fitting.
Oak Flats Muffler Men supplies and fits the MKHN0001 in-house across the Illawarra. We match it to the cat, check clearance along the LWB body, and hang the muffler square. Bring the Colorado in and we'll confirm fitment and the pipe size.
