The MPI Automotive MKHN0060 is a full 3in system with cat and dual mufflers for the VP-to-VS Holden Commodore sedan, 5.0L V8, IRS, manual. The dual-muffler layout is the quieter, more controlled of the system options — two silencers in the run rather than one.
What do dual mufflers change?
Running two mufflers in the system means more silencing along the run, so the note is more subdued and the cruise-speed boom better controlled than a single-muffler layout. It is the choice for an owner who wants the 5.0L V8 freed up on a full 3in system but kept civil rather than open. The two cans share the silencing work across the length of the run.
What does a full 3in system with cat cover?
