Holden Commodore VG VP VR V6 V8 Ute 2.5in Catback Muffler/Muffler.
Category: Mufflers and resonators

Running a muffler-to-muffler layout, the MPI Automotive MKHN0073 is a 2.5in cat-back for the Holden Commodore VG, VP and VR ute in V6 or V8 form. Two mufflers share the silencing for a more settled note across the ute's length.
With a muffler at two points instead of one, the MKHN0073 spreads the quietening front-to-back rather than loading it onto a single rear box. On the VG–VR ute that tends to read as a more even, settled note. The 2.5in bore keeps the system matched to a standard or lightly modified V6 or V8, flowing more than the factory pipe without going so large the bottom end softens.
A cat-back replaces everything from the catalytic converter back to the tail, leaving the engine's emissions hardware in place. The mufflers quieten by absorbing and reflecting sound inside their bodies; running two of them keeps the note civil. We can't quote a sound level — the honest test is to hear a comparable fit on a similar ute.
It's listed to fit the Commodore VG, VP and VR ute in V6 or V8 form. The ute body and crossmember govern the routing, so confirm your engine and exact build with the workshop before ordering.
Oak Flats Muffler Men supplies and fits the MKHN0073 in-house across the Illawarra. We match it to the cat flange, check tunnel and tray clearance, and hang both mufflers square. Bring the ute in and we'll confirm fitment and book the bay.
