VZ HSV V8 Sedan 2.5in Dual Catback Muffler/Muffler.
Category: Mufflers and resonators

The MPI Automotive MKHN0139 is a 2.5in dual cat-back with twin mufflers per side for the VZ HSV V8 sedan. Two boxes in each line on the tighter bore make it the most subdued of the dual layouts for the VZ.
Each pipe carries a muffler-into-muffler run — two silencing stages — and the system splits left and right as a dual. That sends the V8's pulses through twice the absorption and reflection of a single box on each side, which is why the MKHN0139 is the quietest of the dual options for the VZ sedan. We won't quote a number; a comparable twin-muffler fit is the honest gauge.
Two-and-a-half inches is the tighter pipe, holding gas speed up for low-down and mid-range response on a street V8 rather than chasing top-end flow. Run as a dual with twin mufflers, it pairs twin exits with a measured note and near-stock pipe size. It stays a cat-back, so the catalytic converter and front pipework are retained as the factory fitted them.
It's listed to fit the VZ HSV V8 sedan. The dual routing and hanger spacing are particular to that body; confirm your exact build with the workshop before ordering, since the VZ HSV range ran several variants.
Oak Flats Muffler Men supplies and fits the MKHN0139 in-house across the Illawarra. We hang both pipes and all four mufflers on the car's mounts, check clearance to the floor and rear valance on each side, and join every stage square. Bring the car in and we'll confirm fitment and book the bay.
