The MPI Automotive MKHN0139 is a 2.5in dual cat-back with twin mufflers per side for the VZ HSV V8 sedan. Two boxes in each line on the tighter bore make it the most subdued of the dual layouts for the VZ.
What does the twin-muffler dual layout do?
Each pipe carries a muffler-into-muffler run — two silencing stages — and the system splits left and right as a dual. That sends the V8's pulses through twice the absorption and reflection of a single box on each side, which is why the MKHN0139 is the quietest of the dual options for the VZ sedan.
