The MPI Automotive MKHN0348 is a 3in turbo-back for the Holden Colorado RG 2.8L (DPF, 2016 on) that deletes the catalytic converter and runs a rear muffler. The 3in bore is the headline — sized for the engine across the full turbo-back span.
What does the 3in bore suit?
At 3in this is the larger-bore turbo-back, sized to suit a diesel like the Colorado's 2.8L where a bigger pipe across the whole run helps it breathe out. The turbo-back span replaces everything from the turbo outlet rearward, and the MKHN0348 finishes through a muffler so there's still a chambered silencer at the tail rather than an open pipe. State only what the slug gives — this is the 3in build.
Is it road legal in NSW?
No — the MKHN0348 deletes the catalytic converter, so it is not ADR 79/04 compliant for road registration in NSW and is intended for off-road or competition use only. On a DPF-era diesel the emissions hardware is part of what the vehicle was registered with, and removing the cat puts it outside road compliance.
