The MPI Automotive MKHN0357 is the de-cat hotdog build for the non-common-rail short-wheelbase Holden Rodeo RA 3.0L (non-CR). It deletes the catalytic converter and runs a compact hotdog resonator for an open note with light silencing.
What does the non-CR de-cat hotdog do?
MKHN0357 is specified for the non-common-rail 3.0L Rodeo RA. It removes the catalytic converter and uses a hotdog — a short straight-through resonator — rather than a full muffler. Deleting the cat clears the largest restriction, and the hotdog damps only lightly, so it's a freer-flowing build than a mufflered system while still carrying some silencing. It sits between the full muffler-delete build and the with-cat options in this non-CR family.
Is it road legal in NSW?
No. Because it deletes the catalytic converter, it is not ADR 79/04 compliant for road registration in NSW and is for off-road use only. It suits off-road non-CR Rodeo builds where emissions compliance isn't required.
