No catalytic converter, no muffler — it's the freest-flowing, rawest-noted build in the Trailblazer range, and the cat-delete is what defines it as an off-road part.
What makes the MKHN0472 the most open build?
Two deletions set this one apart: there's no catalytic converter and no muffler anywhere in the run. With nothing to push against and no absorptive element to soften it, the note is as hard and present as the range gets, and the path is as open as MPI offers for this wagon. This is the configuration for an off-road or competition Trailblazer where flow and a raw tone are the whole point.
Is it road legal?
No. Deleting the catalytic converter on a road-relevant turbo-back means the MKHN0472 is not ADR 79/04 compliant for road registration in NSW and is supplied for off-road use only. There's no softening that. If the Trailblazer needs to stay registered, a with-cat version of this system is the one to fit.
Where does a turbo-back start on the Trailblazer?
