What does the PL671DPK do?
This is a secondary diesel fuel pre-filter kit. It sits ahead of the factory filter and separates water and fine particulate from the fuel before it reaches the high-pressure injection system, a common protective addition on hard-worked diesel utes and wagons. The PL671DPK is the filter kit only; it doesn't include a catch can.

Why add a pre-filter on a modern diesel V6?
