Where does the PR398S sit in the suspension?
The shock absorber is the damping half of the suspension — it manages how quickly the wheel moves up and down, working alongside whatever coil or leaf the D40 already runs. The PR398S is RAW 4x4's Nitro-series replacement for that role, the part you reach for when the original is leaking or letting the back end bounce. It controls movement only; it doesn't carry load or change how high the ute sits.
Is it the right shock for my Navara?
