What does a catch-can kit do?
A ProVent catch-can sits in the crankcase ventilation line and separates oil mist and moisture out of the blow-by gases before they reach the intake. On a modern diesel like the Next-Gen Ranger's 2L, that oily vapour is what bakes onto the intake tract over time. The kit is a vehicle-specific bracket, can and hose set that plumbs the separator into the factory breather path.
