Category: Extractors and headers

The Redback RBH014 is a set of extractors listed to fit the Mitsubishi Lancer 1.5L from 1988 to 1996. It replaces the factory exhaust manifold to help the engine breathe out more freely.
Extractors (also called headers) replace the cast factory manifold with separate tubular runners that merge further downstream. The idea is to reduce back-pressure and let each cylinder scavenge its exhaust gas more cleanly than a compact factory casting allows. On a small four like the Lancer's 1.5L, that's a modest, sensible breathing change rather than a dramatic one. They alter the exhaust note slightly compared with stock, but extractors are primarily about flow at the front of the system.
It's listed to fit the Mitsubishi Lancer 1.5L across 1988 to 1996, a long run that covered several body updates. Because port shapes and accessory layouts can change within a model's life, send us your exact year and engine and we'll confirm this is the right extractor set before ordering.
Supplied by Redback, the RBH014 carries a recommended retail price of $779 AUD. As a front-of-system part it pairs with whatever cat and back section the car already runs, so it's often fitted as one step in a wider exhaust refresh.
