The Redback RBH185 is a set of headers listed to fit the Toyota Hiace (RZH103 and RZH125) with the 2RZ 2.4L engine from 1989. It replaces the cast factory manifold and carries a recommended retail of $679.
Headers (extractors) replace the one-piece cast manifold with tuned tubes that merge into a collector, giving the 2.4L four a freer path out of the head. On a Hiace this is the front of the exhaust, ahead of the cat and muffler which stay separate. Redback lists the set for the 2RZ 2.4L Hiace; the tube size and material aren't published in our data, so the workshop verifies the actual part rather than us quoting figures we don't hold.
It's listed to fit the Hiace in RZH103 and RZH125 form with the 2RZ 2.4L engine from 1989. Those are different body codes on the same engine, so we match the listing to your van before ordering. Send us your chassis code and we'll confirm the RBH185 suits it.
Headers sit ahead of the emissions and silencing gear, so road compliance depends on the complete system and how the van is presented for registration in NSW. We don't make a standalone legality claim — confirm your requirements with the workshop first.
Oak Flats Muffler Men fits Hiace header sets in the Illawarra. Access on a van can be tighter, so we check the head studs and the collector joint while the old manifold is off, then fit the RBH185 with a fresh gasket. Book it in and we'll confirm clearances on the day.
