The Redback RBH263 is a set of tri-Y headers listed to fit the Toyota Landcruiser URJ202R with the 4.6L V8. They're mandrel-bent and replace the cast factory manifolds with tubular runners at the front of the system.
What are tri-Y headers and what do they change?
Headers, or extractors, replace the cast manifold with tubular runners that gather exhaust from each cylinder. A tri-Y layout pairs the runners in two stages before they merge, a design often used to smooth the gas pulses. Mandrel bending keeps the tube's internal diameter consistent through each bend rather than crimping it. On the Landcruiser's 4.6L V8 this is the part of the exhaust where gas first comes together.
