The Redback RBH706 is a tube header listed to fit the Mitsubishi Triton from 1996. Unlike a cast manifold, a header uses separate, smoother runners to draw exhaust away from each cylinder — the upgrade path for an older 4x4 ute's front end.
What's a header and how does it differ from the cast manifold?
A header (extractor) replaces the heavy factory cast manifold with individual mandrel-formed tubes that merge downstream, giving each cylinder a smoother path out. On the Triton it's a bolt-on alternative to the original manifold. We publish no flow, power or sound figures for the RBH706 and won't quote any — what it changes is the manifold design, not a number we can claim.
