Matched to the PX-generation ute, the MPI Automotive RC661DPK is a Ryco crankcase separator kit listed to fit the Ford Ranger PX. It plumbs a Ryco oil separator into the breather line to capture blow-by oil before it recirculates.
What does this Ryco kit do?
A crankcase separator kit fits a Ryco oil-separator can into the engine's breather circuit. The blow-by gases pass through it, oil mist and moisture are dropped out into a drainable can, and cleaner air carries on. On a PX Ranger that does towing or hard kilometres, that's the oil otherwise left to build up in the intake.
Why the PX-specific kit?
This kit is cut for the Ford Ranger PX, so the bracketry and hoses suit that generation's bay. The record also lists it against Mazda, reflecting the shared Ranger/BT-50 platform of that era.
