One of the few snorkels here that isn't for a Japanese ute: the Safari SS1050HF is listed to fit the Jeep Wrangler across 1991–2007. It lifts the air intake to roof height on a body that earns its keep off-road, where a higher, cleaner pickup counts.
The Wrangler of this era is a short-wheelbase off-roader that owners take into water and dust as a matter of course. A snorkel relocates the intake from the engine bay up to the A-pillar, so the filter draws cleaner air on dusty trails and the engine has a higher point before water can be ingested during a crossing. The SS1050HF body is moulded to the Wrangler's panel work for that 1991–2007 run.
It's listed to fit the Jeep Wrangler from 1991 through 2007 — a long span that covers more than one Wrangler generation. Because snorkel bodies are shaped to specific guard and pillar lines, confirm your exact year and body with the workshop before ordering, since that window includes different Wrangler shapes.
The raised pickup is about feeding the air filter cleaner air and lifting where water can enter, not about a power claim — we don't publish any figures. It's the standard touring and crossing upgrade for a 4x4 like the Wrangler, and it pairs with sealing the rest of the intake tract.
We fit Safari snorkels in-house at our Illawarra workshop. The job is a careful cut-and-seal on the guard with the body mounted to the pillar. At an RRP of $330 it's one of the keener-priced snorkels in the range; bring the Wrangler in and we'll confirm the body match for your year before cutting.
