Holden VY - VZ V8 1 ton /Crewman Ute 2 1/2in Dual Rear Muffler (SKU: SSMBM379MF) Engineered for a wide range.
Category: Mufflers and resonators

The MPI Automotive SSMBM379MF is the dual rear muffler for the V8 Holden VY/VZ One Tonner and Crewman ute, built at a 2in bore. The dual rear placement on these workhorse Holden utes is what sets this section apart.
On the V8 VY/VZ Crewman and One Tonner, the SSMBM379MF is the rear silencer in the twin-pipe system at a 2in bore. As the final muffler it shapes the tailpipe note more than any earlier section, carrying each side of the dual run to the back of the ute and doing its quietening at the tail.
A dual exhaust splits the gas into two pipes, so this is the rear pair of silencers for that system. Replacing it renews a rusted or blown back section on a hard-working Holden ute, or tidies the sound, without disturbing the mid-system. As a chambered muffler it favours a controlled note over an open bark.
It's listed to fit the V8 Holden VY/VZ One Tonner and Crewman. These utes saw running changes across the VY and VZ updates, so confirm your exact model, V8 and dual layout with the workshop before ordering — the cab-chassis One Tonner and the Crewman can differ at the rear.
