The SSMBM449HSV is the HSV-specific 3in dual rear muffler for the Holden VY/VZ HSV sedan — built for the HSV rear with its own tip and hanger arrangement, not a standard Commodore.
What makes this the HSV version?
HSV's VY and VZ sedans ran their own rear bumper, tips and hanger spacing over the standard Commodore. This dual rear muffler is built for that HSV arrangement, so the 3in twin rear lines up with the HSV tailpipe exits rather than a base-model rear.
What does the dual rear deliver?
The dual layout splits the flow to two tailpipes at the rear of the sedan. As a 3in section it keeps both sides flowing evenly on a larger system, settling the note at the back without pinching the V8 down to a stock outlet.
