MPI Automotive Holden Commodore VL Commodore Turbo 3.0L 3in T/Back Muffler/Muffler.
Category: Mufflers and resonators

The MPI Automotive SSMKHN0029 is a 3in turbo-back system with twin mufflers, listed to fit the Holden VL Commodore Turbo 3.0L. Two chambered mufflers are the angle — the most settled-sounding of the VL turbo-back builds, from the turbo outlet back.
The SSMKHN0029 carries a chambered muffler at two points along the 3in turbo-back run, giving the most sound control of the VL turbo-back builds. Chambered mufflers reflect and absorb pressure pulses through internal baffles, so the boosted 3.0L stays measured at cruise. It's the choice for an owner wanting the turbo-back flow with a calmer tail.
A turbo-back replaces the system from the turbo outlet rearward — a longer span than a cat-back — and that's where a boosted engine frees up. At 3in off the turbo it helps the VL's blown six breathe out. We state only the 3in diameter MPI lists for this part and make no power or boost claims.
The SSMKHN0029 is listed to fit the Holden VL Commodore Turbo 3.0L. The turbo-outlet and under-floor geometry are specific to the VL turbo, so confirm your exact build and turbo setup with the workshop before ordering so the section and hangers align.
Oak Flats Muffler Men supplies and fits this MPI turbo-back in-house. We check the turbo-outlet flange, hangers and clearance on your VL first. It's usually a special order at this price — send your build and we'll confirm stock and timing.
