The MPI Automotive SSMKHN0145 is a dual 2.5in cat-back running a muffler on each bank for the Holden VX-VY V8 Monaro. Twin chambered mufflers are the distinguishing point — it's the most settled-sounding of the dual Monaro builds, with sound control on both sides.
Why twin mufflers?
Carrying a chambered muffler on each of the two banks gives the SSMKHN0145 sound control across both exits, the most subdued of the dual Monaro arrangements. Chambered mufflers reflect and absorb pressure through internal baffles, so the V8 note stays measured at idle and cruise.
