Holden Rodeo RA 3.0L LWB Non CR With Cat & With Hotdog.
Category: Mufflers and resonators

The MPI Automotive SSMKHN0351 keeps the catalytic converter and runs a hotdog resonator, built for the long-wheelbase Holden Rodeo RA 3.0L (non common-rail). It is the balanced LWB build: converter retained, with a compact resonator instead of a full muffler.
A hotdog is a compact straight-through resonator that knocks the sharpest edge off the note without the absorption of a full muffler. With the catalytic converter retained, it gives the 3.0L diesel a fuller note than the quiet road build while staying tamer than a muffler-delete, sitting in the middle of the LWB non-CR family on tone and flow.
This is the long-wheelbase Rodeo RA with the 3.0L non common-rail diesel. Wheelbase sets the underbody pipe length and hanger positions, and the non-CR designation fixes the front-of-system layout, so the part is specific to the long-wheelbase non-CR ute.
Because the SSMKHN0351 keeps the catalytic converter, it retains the emissions hardware that is the usual compliance sticking point on a diesel ute. Confirm the exact build and any state requirements with the workshop before fitting.
Oak Flats Muffler Men supplies and fits this MPI Automotive system in-house across the Illawarra. We confirm the cat join and LWB non-CR routing, set the hotdog and hangers, and book the bay once the fitment is verified against your Rodeo. Listed at $2,983.71, it is brought in to order once the long-wheelbase non-CR fitment is confirmed at the workshop.
