Holden Rodeo RA 3.0L SWB Non CR Without Cat & With Hotdog.
Category: Mufflers and resonators

The MPI Automotive SSMKHN0357 is built for the non-common-rail short-wheelbase Holden Rodeo RA 3.0L, pairing a hotdog resonator with a cat-delete. The earlier non-CR engine sets this section apart from the common-rail Rodeo parts.
The SSMKHN0357 is for the non-common-rail (non-CR) 3.0L Rodeo RA, an earlier diesel setup than the common-rail engine. The front of the exhaust differs between the two, so this section is specific to the non-CR build — fitting the right one for your engine type is what makes the hangers and flanges line up.
The catalytic converter is removed and a hotdog resonator runs in its place. The hotdog is a compact straight-through unit that flows freely while cutting a frequency off the drone, so this is open but not fully silencer-free. Because it deletes the catalytic converter on a road-relevant system, it is not ADR 79/04 compliant for road registration in NSW and is intended for off-road or competition use only.
It's listed to fit the short-wheelbase Holden Rodeo RA 3.0L in non-common-rail form. Confirm your engine type and wheelbase with the workshop before ordering, since the non-CR and CRD sections aren't interchangeable.
Oak Flats Muffler Men supplies and fits this MPI section in the Illawarra. We'll confirm the non-CR fitment, go through the off-road position for the cat-delete, then check clearance on your SWB Rodeo before booking. Special order through MPI is available.
