The MPI Automotive SSMKHN0361 fits a hotdog resonator to a cat-delete on the long-wheelbase Holden Rodeo RA 3.0L CRD. The catalytic converter comes out while the hotdog stays in over the longer body.
What does the hotdog add on the long-wheelbase Rodeo?
A hotdog is a compact straight-through resonator that flows freely while shaving a frequency band off the diesel drone. On this cat-out LWB Rodeo it manages resonance over the longer run without the volume drop of a full muffler — a middle path between an open muffler-delete and a fully silenced build.
What does removing the cat mean?
Deleting the catalytic converter changes the emissions hardware the Rodeo left the factory with. Because it deletes the catalytic converter on a road-relevant system, it is not ADR 79/04 compliant for road registration in NSW and is intended for off-road or competition use only.
