Holden Rodeo RA 3.0L SWB CRD Without Cat & WITH HOTDOG.
Category: Mufflers and resonators

The MPI Automotive SSMKHN0365 pairs a hotdog resonator with a cat-delete on the short-wheelbase Holden Rodeo RA 3.0L CRD. The catalytic converter comes out, but the hotdog stays in to manage drone.
A hotdog is a compact straight-through resonator — gas passes through a perforated core wrapped in packing, so it knocks a frequency band off the diesel drone without restricting flow. On this cat-out SWB Rodeo it keeps the system open while taking the harshest resonance out of the cruise, sitting between a full muffler and a complete muffler-delete.
Removing the catalytic converter changes the emissions hardware the Rodeo left the factory with. Because it deletes the catalytic converter on a road-relevant system, it is not ADR 79/04 compliant for road registration in NSW and is intended for off-road or competition use only.
It's listed to fit the short-wheelbase Holden Rodeo RA 3.0L common-rail (CRD). The SWB body and the CRD engine both shape the routing, so confirm your exact build with the workshop before ordering.
Oak Flats Muffler Men supplies and fits this MPI section in the Illawarra. We'll go through the off-road position for the cat-delete, then check hanger and clearance details on your SWB Rodeo before booking. It can be special-ordered through MPI if not in stock, and we'll confirm the price and lead time when you book so the job is clear before any work starts.
