Holden Colorado RG 2.8L DPF Aug 2016 On 3in Turbo Back With Cat & Without Muffler (SKU: SSMKHN0368) Engineered.
Category: Mufflers and resonators

Sized at 3in, the MPI Automotive SSMKHN0368 is a turbo-back with the catalytic converter retained and the rear muffler deleted, listed to fit the Holden Colorado RG 2.8L DPF (Aug 2016 on). It keeps the emissions hardware while running straight through at the back.
This 3in turbo-back keeps the catalytic converter but removes the rear muffler, so the back of the system flows straight through. The 2.8L diesel gains a fuller, harder note than the factory ute while the converter stays in place, making it the louder-but-cat-retained option in the RG DPF family.
A turbo-back replaces the exhaust from the turbo outlet rearward, the longer engine-back span where the 2.8L tends to free up once the factory tubing is gone, and at 3in it opens the bore over standard. The DPF stays in place, as this is the later RG with the diesel particulate filter from August 2016 on.
Because the SSMKHN0368 keeps the catalytic converter, it retains the emissions hardware that is the usual compliance sticking point on a diesel ute. A muffler-delete is louder by design, so confirm the build and any noise requirements with the workshop before fitting.
