Holden Colorado RG 2.8L DPF Aug 2016 On 3in Turbo Back Without Cat & With Hotdog.
Category: Mufflers and resonators

Built at 3in, the MPI Automotive SSMKHN0369 is a turbo-back with the catalytic converter deleted and a hotdog resonator, listed to fit the Holden Colorado RG 2.8L DPF (Aug 2016 on). The hotdog tames the note while the system runs cat-free for an open path.
At 3in this turbo-back opens the bore over the factory tubing along the full engine-back span from the turbo outlet rearward. It deletes the catalytic converter for flow, then runs a hotdog, a compact straight-through resonator that trims the sharpest rasp without the absorption of a full muffler. The result is open but not as raw as a muffler-delete.
This is the later RG 2.8L with the diesel particulate filter, from August 2016 on. The system is built around that DPF-equipped driveline, so it is specific to the post-2016 Colorado rather than the earlier non-DPF cars.
Because it deletes the catalytic converter on a road-relevant system, it is not ADR 79/04 compliant for road registration in NSW and is sold for off-road and competition use only.
Oak Flats Muffler Men supplies and fits 3in turbo-back systems like this in-house across the Illawarra. We confirm clearance from the turbo outlet back, set the hotdog and hangers, and flag the off-road status when we book your Colorado in. It is listed at $2,278.94 and ordered in to suit your ute once the fitment is confirmed at the workshop.
