Holden Colorado RC 3.0L 08 - 10 LWB WITHOUT CAT & WITH HOTDOG.
Category: Mufflers and resonators

Built for the long-wheelbase Holden Colorado RC 3.0L, the MPI Automotive SSMKHN0373 runs a hotdog resonator and deletes the catalytic converter. It's the cat-out version aimed at the longer body.
The LWB Colorado has a longer run from the engine to the tail than the short-wheelbase ute, so this section is shaped for that body. The SSMKHN0373 carries a hotdog over that length to tame drone, while the deleted cat keeps the path open. Get the right body variant and the hangers and clearances line up properly.
With the catalytic converter taken out, this part changes the emissions hardware the RC left the factory with. Because it deletes the catalytic converter on a road-relevant system, it is not ADR 79/04 compliant for road registration in NSW and is intended for off-road or competition use only.
A hotdog is a compact straight-through resonator that flows freely while shaving a frequency off the diesel drone. On a cat-out LWB Colorado it keeps the system breathing and the note present, without the volume drop of a full chambered muffler.
Oak Flats Muffler Men supplies and fits this MPI section in the Illawarra. We confirm the long-wheelbase fitment, walk through the off-road position, then check tray and chassis clearance before booking. If it's not on the shelf we can bring it in on special order through MPI, and we'll go over the current price and lead time when you book rather than leaving you guessing on either.
