MPI Automotive Holden Colorado RC 3.0L 08 - 10 SWB WITH CAT & WITH HOTDOG.
Category: Mufflers and resonators

The MPI Automotive SSMKHN0375 keeps the catalytic converter and runs a hotdog resonator, built for the short-wheelbase Holden Colorado RC 3.0L (2008-2010). It is the balanced SWB build: converter retained, with a compact resonator instead of a full muffler.
A hotdog is a small straight-through resonator that trims the sharpest rasp without the absorption of a full muffler. Paired with a retained catalytic converter, it gives the 3.0L diesel a fuller note than the quiet road build while staying tamer than a muffler-delete, so it sits in the middle of the SWB family on tone and flow.
This is the SWB system for the shorter-chassis Colorado RC from 2008 to 2010. Wheelbase sets the underbody pipe length and hanger positions, so it is specific to the short-wheelbase ute and not shared with the long-wheelbase cars.
Because the SSMKHN0375 keeps the catalytic converter, it retains the emissions hardware that is the usual compliance sticking point on a diesel ute. Confirm the exact build and any state requirements with the workshop before fitting.
