Holden Trailblazer 2.8L Turbo Back With Cat & Hotdog.
Category: Mufflers and resonators

The MPI Automotive SSMKHN0469 is a turbo-back that keeps the catalytic converter and runs a hotdog resonator, listed to fit the Holden Trailblazer 2.8L. It is the balanced build in the family: converter retained, with a compact resonator instead of a full muffler.
This variant keeps the catalytic converter and adds a hotdog: a small straight-through resonator that trims the sharpest rasp without the absorption of a full muffler. With the converter retained and a resonator in the tail, it lands between the quiet road build and the open muffler-delete on note and flow.
A turbo-back replaces the exhaust from the turbo outlet rearward, the longer engine-back span where the 2.8L tends to free up once the factory tubing is gone. Keeping the cat leaves the emissions hardware the wagon left the factory with in place.
Because the SSMKHN0469 keeps the catalytic converter, it retains the emissions equipment that is the compliance sticking point on diesel wagons. Confirm the exact build and any state requirements with the workshop before fitting.
