Holden Trailblazer 2.8L Turbo Back With Cat & Without Muffler (SKU: SSMKHN0470) Engineered. Quality guaranteed.
Category: Mufflers and resonators

Catalytic converter retained and rear muffler deleted, the MPI Automotive SSMKHN0470 is a turbo-back listed to fit the Holden Trailblazer 2.8L. It keeps the emissions hardware while running straight through at the back for a fuller note.
This build keeps the catalytic converter but removes the rear muffler, so the back of the system flows straight through. The result is a fuller, harder diesel note than the factory wagon while the converter stays in place, making it the loud-but-cat-retained option in the Trailblazer family.
A turbo-back replaces the exhaust from the turbo outlet rearward, a longer span than a cat-back and where the 2.8L tends to free up once the standard pipework is gone. Retaining the cat means the emissions equipment the Trailblazer left the factory with is left in place.
Because the SSMKHN0470 keeps the catalytic converter, it retains the emissions hardware that is the usual compliance sticking point on a diesel wagon. A muffler-delete is louder by design, so confirm the build and any noise requirements with the workshop before fitting.
Oak Flats Muffler Men supplies and fits this MPI Automotive turbo-back in-house in the Illawarra. We confirm the cat join, set the straight-through tail and hangers, and book the bay once the fitment is verified against your Trailblazer. It is listed at $2,427.72 and ordered in to suit your wagon once the build is confirmed.
