The Redback STR240 is a cat-back exhaust system listed to fit the Ford Falcon from 1998. Supplied by Redback at an RRP of $446, it's a full rear-section replacement fitted in-house.
What's a cat-back, and what does it change?
A cat-back is the run of exhaust from the catalytic converter back to the tailpipe — the mufflers and the mid and rear pipework. Swapping it changes the note and frees up the back half of the system, while the converter and the engine-side pipes stay exactly as the factory built them. On a late-90s Falcon that's the upgrade owners reach for first because it doesn't disturb emissions hardware.
