The XForce E4-FG20-XFCBS is a 3.5in cat-back exhaust listed to fit the Ford FG Falcon turbo sedan. It changes the rear section behind the catalytic converter, and it's supplied and fitted at our Illawarra workshop.
What does this system cover?
This is a 3.5in cat-back for the FG Falcon turbo sedan. A cat-back replaces the exhaust from the catalytic converter back to the tips, so the factory cat and front pipework stay in place and only the rear section changes. At 3.5in it's a wider-bore rear path than standard. Material, muffler and tip details aren't published for this part, so we don't quote them — they're confirmed against the kit at fitting.
What's a cat-back and what does a 3.5in setup change?
A cat-back is the section behind the catalytic converter, so swapping it changes the rear flow and the note without touching the emissions hardware up front. Stepping the rear path to 3.5in gives the turbo six a wider path out the back, and the result is louder than the standard system. Because the cat stays in place, this is a rear-section change rather than a full engine-back one.
