What does this gasket cover?
The EMG163 is the flat exhaust gasket for the 3.4-litre 3B diesel in the BJ-series Land Cruiser. It seals the joint where the extractor or factory manifold meets the cylinder head, keeping exhaust gas in the runner rather than leaking at the flange. It is cut to the 3B port pattern, which is why it is listed against that specific BJ-series diesel.
What is an extractor gasket and what does it do?
An extractor gasket is the replaceable seal at the exhaust face of the cylinder head.
