The MPI Automotive EMG268 is a manifold gasket listed to fit the Holden VL Commodore RB30. It is the sealing gasket between the cylinder head and the exhaust manifold or extractor flange.

A manifold gasket seals the joint where the exhaust manifold or extractor bolts to the cylinder head exhaust face, keeping combustion gas in the pipework at the port. On the VL's inline RB30 it is a head-length gasket that lives in a constant heat cycle, so it is treated as a consumable and renewed whenever that joint is opened.
