The XForce ES-FM17-02-CBS is a cat-back exhaust listed to fit the Ford Mustang EcoBoost. It changes the rear section behind the catalytic converter, and it's supplied and fitted at our Illawarra workshop.
What does this system cover?
This is a cat-back for the Mustang EcoBoost. A cat-back replaces the exhaust from the catalytic converter back to the tips, so the factory cat and front pipework stay in place and only the rear section changes. Pipe diameter, material and muffler details aren't published for this part, so we don't quote them — they're confirmed against the kit at fitting.
What's a cat-back and what does it change?
A cat-back is the section behind the catalytic converter, so swapping it changes the rear flow and the note without touching the emissions hardware up front. On the turbocharged EcoBoost Mustang that's the usual route to open up the rear of the system while leaving the front pipework and cat standard.
