Category: Performance chips and ECU remaps

The Ultimate9 EVC552, supplied by SWD, is a throttle controller listed to fit the Land Rover Discovery 4 from 2009. It plugs into the accelerator-pedal harness to reshape throttle response, leaving the factory engine calibration in place.
The Discovery 4 from 2009 runs a drive-by-wire pedal that Land Rover maps soft for smooth, refined low-speed manners. The EVC552 sits on that pedal signal and remaps it through selectable modes, so the same pedal travel asks for throttle sooner. It's a pedal-response change, not a remap of fuelling or boost.
It's listed to fit the Land Rover Discovery 4 from 2009. Throttle controllers match on the pedal connector, so confirm your exact build and connector with the workshop before ordering to be sure the plug matches your vehicle.
The EVC552 isn't a remap and won't change the Discovery 4's published outputs. We don't quote power, torque or economy figures for it. The factory ECU calibration stays in place; what changes is how directly the throttle responds to your foot.
We supply and fit the EVC552 in-house across the Illawarra. It plugs into the accelerator harness with the controller mounted in the cabin; bring the Discovery 4 in and we'll confirm the connector and set up the modes. It's a clean electronic install with nothing cut or welded, and the unit carries an RRP of $299. If it isn't on the shelf we can special-order it through SWD against your Discovery 4 before we book the bay, and set the modes with you.
