The MPI Automotive FM601DPK is the single-battery Fuel Manager pre-filter kit for the 3.0L Isuzu D-Max and MU-X (also sold as the Holden D-Max) from 2012 on. Its mounting suits a standard single-battery engine bay.
Why the single-battery version?
Not every 2012-on D-Max or MU-X carries a second battery, and the FM601DPK is the kit listed for a standard single-battery layout. Its mounting suits that bay, where the space hasn't been given over to an auxiliary battery tray. If you've added a dual-battery setup, ask us — there's a Fuel Manager kit configured for that instead.
What does the FM601DPK do?
It's a Fuel Manager diesel filter and water separator fitted ahead of the factory fuel filter. On the 3.0L D-Max and MU-X, it catches water and fine debris from the fuel before they reach the common-rail injection. It's protection for the fuel hardware — nothing claimed about outputs.
