The MPI Automotive FM607DPK is a Fuel Manager pre-filter kit for the 3.2L Mitsubishi Pajero from 2006 to 2017 — with one important caveat: it will not fit alongside a snorkel.
What's the snorkel clash about?
The most important thing to know about the FM607DPK is its fitment limit: it is listed as not fitting where a snorkel is installed on the 3.2L Pajero. The pre-filter and the snorkel want the same space in the engine bay, so if your Pajero already runs a snorkel, this isn't the kit — talk to us before ordering and we'll work out the right path.
What does the pre-filter do?
It's a Fuel Manager diesel filter and water separator fitted ahead of the factory fuel filter. On the 3.2L Pajero, it catches water and fine debris from the diesel before they reach the injection hardware. It's protection for the fuel system, not a performance part.
