What does the 3in turbo-back take in?
A turbo-back replaces the run from the turbo outlet through to the tailpipe, a fuller change than a cat-back. At 3in — the only bore the supplier states — the pipe carries the gas from the turbo back along the underbody of the ute. With the diesel particulate filter deleted, that entire span is replaced rather than retained. Material is not published for this listing, so we confirm it off the kit rather than stating a grade.
Is it road legal?
No. As a DPF-delete system it removes the diesel particulate filter, the emissions device on a modern diesel. That makes it not ADR 79/04 compliant for road registration in NSW, and it is for off-road use only. We won't fit it to a road-registered ute, so the use case is the first thing we settle with you before anything is ordered.
