The MPI Automotive FX-252 is an extractor set listed to fit the 2.6 petrol Holden Jackaroo and Rodeo with an O2 sensor. It's the uncoated version of MPI's 2.6 petrol pattern, replacing the cast factory manifold with tubular primaries.
What does an extractor set change?
An extractor set swaps the cast-iron factory manifold for tubular primary pipes that merge after each cylinder has its own run. That gives the engine a more open path to push exhaust gas out of the head than a single shared casting allows, and usually a deeper note than stock. The FX-252 is the bare-steel version of MPI's 2.6 petrol pattern; the ceramic-coated equivalent is sold as the FX-252HPC-S.
