What does this extractor cover?
This is the header section for the 3.8L V6 Commodore from VT through VY. It covers the manifold replacement on each bank — it's the extractor only, not a full system. On the V6, the extractor swaps the compact cast manifold for separate tubular primaries, which is where the flow improvement over the factory unit comes from.

An extractor (header) is the first component off the exhaust ports. The factory cast manifold keeps the runners short and merged to stay compact and cheap; a tubular extractor gives each cylinder its own primary before they collect.
